About Us
Irby Institute of Comprehensive Assessment Needs, Inc. (IICAN) was founded in 2016 by Dr. Coretta Irby under the name of Irby Institute of Counseling and Assessment Needs, Inc. IICAN was established in order to provide high quality psychoeducational services to youth and families throughout the Tampa Bay Area. IICAN relaunched in 2022 as a remote service provider in order to expand our private practice services throughout the state of Florida and to provide our clients with more flexibility and convenience.

- Parent Coaching—Parent coaching sessions can occur individually, as a couple, or in a small group. Effective parenting strategies are taught and rehearsed in session and homework is provided for implementation and generalization outside of sessions.

Example of Sessions to be Scheduled
- Intake Interview (30 minutes)
- Evaluation Session 1 (up to 2 hours)
- Evaluation Session 2 (up to 2 hours)
- Evaluation Session 3 (select a tentative 3rd session particularly if you’re requesting multiple areas of concern) (up to 2 hours)
- Evaluation Results Feedback Session (30 minutes)
